Privacy
VIBE reads conversations you upload and tells you what it makes of them. That means you hand us something private, so this page says plainly what happens to it.
Screenshots are not stored
When you upload a screenshot it is held in memory long enough to be analysed, then discarded. We do not write it to disk, we do not put it in a storage bucket, and there is no copy to recover later. The same is true of conversation text you paste.
What we keep is the written analysis: the summary, the signals, the recommended move and the suggested replies. That summary describes what was said, so treat it as a record of the conversation even though the image is gone.
There is one exception, and it only happens when you choose it. If you attach a screenshot to a bug report, that image is stored, because we cannot look into a problem we cannot see. It goes to a private store that only the operator can open, and it is never used for anything but fixing what you reported. Do not attach one if it shows something you would rather we did not see.
We also keep a record of when each analysis and counselling message happened. That is what makes the history work, and it is also what we look at if you ask for a refund — how much of a period you had used, and when. We look at the counts and the times, not at what was said.
What we store
- Your email address and account id, from signing in with Google.
- The names, pronouns, age range and notes you choose to add for the people you track. Use nicknames if you prefer — nothing checks them.
- Each analysis, and the outcome you record afterwards.
- Messages you exchange with VIBE in the chat.
- How many analyses you have used, and your subscription status.
- Your age range and gender, if you chose to give them.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of services to run VIBE. They only receive what they need to do their part.
- Google (Gemini) processes the screenshot or text to produce the analysis. We use a paid tier, under which Google does not use the content to train its models.
- Supabase stores the data above and handles sign-in.
- Netlify serves the site.
- Paddle handles payment as the merchant of record. Card details go to Paddle, never to us — we never see or store them.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
The other person in the conversation
A conversation involves someone who has not agreed to any of this. Please keep that in mind. Only upload conversations you are part of, use a nickname rather than a full name where you can, and do not upload anything about someone who has asked you to stop contacting them.
Deleting things
You can delete any single analysis from its own page, and deleting a person removes every analysis attached to them. Both are immediate and permanent.
To delete your whole account, use Close my account under You. It removes every person, analysis, chat and bug report you sent, along with the account itself. It happens straight away and cannot be undone. If the button will not work for you, email support@vibewingman.app from the address you signed up with and we will do it within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to see a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or object to how it is used. Email support@vibewingman.app and we will handle it. You do not need to give a reason.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Each account can only read its own rows, enforced at the database level rather than in the app. The keys that reach the AI service live only on the server and never in your browser.
No system is perfect. If you find a problem, please tell us at support@vibewingman.app.
Age
VIBE is for adults. You confirm you are 18 or older when you first sign in, and we keep the date of that confirmation.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we will say so here and update the date at the top.
